CAD Translator ("the App") is developed and operated by Zima Logistics LLC. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data. CAD Translator operates entirely on-device. No account is required. No advertising or third-party tracking SDKs are embedded.

We do collect anonymous, aggregated usage diagnostics (no personal data, no tracking) so we can prioritize fixes. The device identifier used is a random per-install value that resets on reinstall and is never linked to your identity, never used for advertising, and never shared. If your App Store account is in the EU, EEA, or UK, these diagnostics are off by default and only collected if you opt in. You can change this in Settings → Privacy.

Data Stored On-Device

The following data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted:

Custom layer definitions you create
Definition Packs you create or import
App preferences and settings
In-app purchase status (verified by Apple / Google, not our servers)

In-App Purchases

Pro upgrade purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never receive your payment information. Purchase receipts are verified through the respective platform's APIs.

Third-Party Services

CAD Translator does not embed any third-party advertising, crash reporting, or social SDK. The only third-party interaction is the App Store / Play Store purchase verification handled by Apple and Google.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we collect no data from any user, this is satisfied by design.

This website (cad.zima-logistics.com)

This marketing website — separate from the app — uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic (page views, referrers, and which links are clicked, such as the App Store button). This helps us measure which content is effective. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data per Google's privacy policy. The data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. This applies only to the website; the CAD Translator app itself still collects nothing and makes no network calls. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on or any content blocker.

Changes to This Policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be communicated via an app update notice.
